Seeking a nigh shift role?
The Quality Control Operator performs quantitative and qualitative tests and checks on samples produced by the FlexNet production line. The Quality Control Operator is responsible for communicating quality and product and process performance related issue to the Production staff. During idle times the Quality Control Operator will provide support to the production line.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties as assigned.)
The Quality Control Operator duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Perform required quality tests and checks as required by the quality plan.
Accurately record the results of the quality tests and checks into a quality database.
Promptly and accurately communicate all quality and product performance related issues to both the production and quality staff.
Escalate serious or unresolved quality and product performance issues to management
Ensure that non-conforming product is identified and quarantined.
Assist on investigation of customer complaints.
Perform quality audits of the production process.
Verifying the accuracy of quantity of produced goods
Labeling every product and placing them accordingly
Palletizing and staging finished goods
Keeping a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory using Kanban system
Handling returns by completing documentation and other required communication
Collaborating with internal departments to reconcile discrepancies
Conducting entry RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) to determine and improve underlying causes in the work process
General housekeeping of department by utilizing Lean & Operational Excellence methodology (5S)
Flexing over into other departments during any slow periods.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
HS diploma or equivalent
Quality Control in a production environment preferred but not required
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Written and verbal skills required
SKILLS
Basic math skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Basic computer proficiency (email, word processing)
Familiarity of hand tools and measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, ruler, wrench, scissors, screwdriver, impact driver, etc.)

Salary : $17 - $17
