Job Description:
- BFS Data Analysis Payments SWIFT ISO20022 RealTime Instant Request to Pay Domestic Cross Border High Value Low Value and Mass Payments.
- Support Product Managers by gathering documenting and refining business requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications and user stories for engineering teams.
- Write and maintain requirements for operational and client facing reports ensuring accuracy and usability.
- Assist in backlog grooming sprint planning and QA processes by ensuring requirements are complete and testable.
- Analyze and document workflows related to benefit disbursements including ACH check and wire payments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams engineering compliance operations to ensure alignment on delivery goals.
- Support issue resolution by clarifying requirements and expected outcomes.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in the payments industry with a strong understanding of transaction processing and disbursement workflows.
- Proven ability to write clear concise and technically sound requirements including reporting and analytics.
- Experience supporting benefit disbursement products eg retirement plans pensions Social Security.
- Familiarity with tax reporting and compliance requirements eg 1099s withholding.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Experience working in financial services fintech or government benefit programs.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira Confluence and Agile methodologies.
- Understanding systemic controls and dual authorization processes in payment systems.
