Client is seeking an experienced Cloud SCM Lead – Functional to lead the functional design, implementation, integration, and optimization of cloud-based Supply Chain Management solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across Order Management, Global Order Promising (GOP), Inventory Management, and Manufacturing, with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and implementation partners.
The candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable SCM solutions, leading functional design discussions, supporting configuration and integration activities, and ensuring successful delivery across the SCM landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead functional design and implementation activities for Cloud SCM solutions.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document supply chain requirements.
- Provide functional leadership across Order Management, Global Order Promising (GOP), Inventory, and Manufacturing modules.
- Define end-to-end SCM business processes, functional flows, and solution designs.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and work with technical teams on implementation.
- Lead fit-gap analysis and recommend solutions aligned with standard cloud SCM capabilities.
- Support configuration, testing, integration, deployment, and production stabilization activities.
- Analyze and resolve complex functional issues across SCM processes and integrations.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure proper integration between SCM and external systems.
- Lead SIT, UAT, defect triage, and business validation activities.
- Review functional designs and ensure adherence to enterprise SCM standards and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and operational improvement.
- Work with offshore/onshore teams and implementation partners to ensure delivery quality and timelines.
- Provide functional guidance, documentation, knowledge transfer, and support to SCM teams.

- Strong hands-on experience as a Cloud SCM Functional Lead / Solution Lead.

- Strong understanding of order-to-cash, inventory, supply planning, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large-scale enterprise Cloud SCM transformations.
- Experience in manufacturing or automotive industry environments.
- Experience working in global, multi-location supply chain organizations.
- Knowledge of SCM integration patterns, APIs, middleware, and enterprise application architecture.
