Location: Louisville, KY (Preferred onsite/Hybrid)
Overall Experience: 15 Years
Important: This is a Techno-Functional Oracle ERP Architect role. Candidates should have both strong Oracle Financials functional expertise and hands-on technical/integration experience.
Role Summary
Techno Functional Oracle ERP Architect with strong expertise across Oracle ERP Cloud Financials and technical integration frameworks. The ideal candidate will lead solution design, translate business requirements into scalable ERP solutions, and deliver both functional and technical components.
Experience Required
- 5 years as an ERP or Solution Architect
- 5 years with Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle OIC, and Oracle EBS
- 3 years techno functional experience in Oracle ERP Cloud Financials, including:
- GL
- AR
- AP
- FA
- AHCS
- Oracle Projects
- Related financial web services
Functional Skills
- Strong understanding of finance and project accounting business processes
- Ability to lead requirement workshops, gather business needs, and define functional specs
- Knowledge of fit-gap analysis, solution design, and best practices for Oracle Financials
- Experience reviewing and validating FDDs, process flows, and end-to-end solution designs
- Lead functional solution architecture for Oracle ERP Financials
- Translate business requirements into scalable ERP solutions aligned with Oracle best practices
- Conduct workshops, fit-gap analysis, and define future-state finance processes:
- Record-to-Report (R2R)
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Project-to-Profit (P2P for Projects)
- Design chart of accounts, enterprise structures, and financial data models
- Act as primary liaison between finance stakeholders and IT teams
- Support testing, UAT, and deployment from a functional standpoint
Technical Skills
- Expertise in data migration: FBDI, ADFdi, HDL, spreadsheets
- Experience with OIC, PaaS extensions, VBCS, and ERP Cloud integrations
- Strong reporting skills: OTBI, BI Publisher, and data models
- Hands-on design and development of integrations, extensions, and financial interfaces
- Ability to review and author TDDs, technical architecture, and integration specs
- Define integration requirements and collaborate on OIC-based solutions
Governance
- Active participant in managing the project backlog, ensuring clarity and timely completion per project team SLAs.
- Understand the project's or application's specific SLAs, particularly regarding bug fixes, stakeholder response, and performance metrics.
- Write code that is robust, scalable, and performant to prevent violations of performance and availability SLAs.
- Prioritize and address critical bugs or incidents per the SLA defined by the project team.
- Prepare and conduct effective demonstrations of completed features or fixes, highlighting their value to the client. Whenever possible, provide visual evidence or working prototypes of completed work.
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback into subsequent development cycles, demonstrating responsiveness.
