Title: Calibration Technician
Duration: 06 months contract
Location: Millsboro, DE 19966
Shift: Standard Business Hours
Position Summary
• Perform calibration activities for laboratory and industrial equipment.
• Support internal calibration teams and coordinate with external vendors.
• Manage inventory, documentation, and calibration tracking systems.
• Work across lab, cleanroom, and utility environments with a hands-on approach.
Responsibilities
• Perform pipette calibrations and support P-1 and P-2 Calibration Technicians with equipment calibrations
• Communicate with vendors and third-party service providers
• Track and manage inventory of third-party calibration equipment across departments
• Coordinate shipping and handling of equipment to external vendors
• Maintain stock of consumables and gases required for calibration activities
• Perform field calibration work in lab, cleanroom, and utility environments
• Support administrative tasks related to calibration tracking and documentation
Qualifications
Education:
• High school diploma required
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience:
• Experience in GMP or industrial equipment environments preferred
• Exposure to calibration processes or mechanical systems preferred
Skills:
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Ability to learn and utilize calibration software systems
• Strong communication skills (internal teams and external vendors)
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently
• Customer service mindset and ability to work cross-functionally
Additional Requirements:
• Willingness to perform hands-on calibration work in various environments (lab, cleanroom, utilities)
