Qualifications:
- Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the districts IT procurement function.
- Accountable for participating in procurement strategies, defining business requirements, identifying opportunities to improve processes, identifying potential benefits for business advantage and keeping Management aware of the status of procurement operations.
- Participate on Client System workgroups as the district IT procurement representative when appropriate.
Top 5 must-have hard skills:
- Ordering hardware & software for the entire 6th district (multiple locations in the southeast)
- It is a plus to have experience with Service Now and Ariba
- Submitting orders & Interacting with IT vendors as needed
- Critical thinking; think outside the box & ask questions
- Concise communications
