Position: Document Control Specialist / Records Management Analyst IV
Pay Rate: $30-$36/hour on W2
Location: Superior, WI / Duluth, MN (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide drawing control support using the drawing management system (Meridian)
- Resolve broken hybrid drawings and x-reference issues in CAD files
- Update outdated PDF renditions and clean up legacy drawing discrepancies
- Support as-built consolidation, publishing, and project turnover
- Manage drawing requests via BIM JIRA and Service request tools
- Coordinate SME reviews and ensure compliance with drawing standards
- Deliver training to internal teams and external vendors on the drawing management system
- Support development of work processes, procedures, and training materials
Requirements:
- University degree or technical diploma in relevant field
- 2–4 years of experience in Document Control / Records Management (Engineering or Construction preferred)
- Education/training in business analysis, records management, data analysis, or project management
- Basic knowledge of EDMS Link, BIM-JIRA, MS Access, and Excel
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
