Job Summary and Qualifications:
The Director of Surgical Services ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s) in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. The Director fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.
Duties:
- Implements evidence-based practices and standards to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
- Optimizes patient throughput and flow coordination to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Directs nursing operations and strategy to enhance the patient experience and service excellence.
- Builds high-performing teams through recruitment, coaching, and fostering a culture of engagement.
- Drives growth by collaborating with physicians to expand services and implement new technologies.
- Oversees departmental budgets, labor productivity, and cost-reduction efforts to ensure fiscal health.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing Required
- Master's Degree Preferred
Experience:
- 1 years of recent leadership experience in Surgical Services Required (Director or Strong Managerial Experience)
- 3 years applicable Surgical Services experience Required
Salary : $184,000 - $276,000
