CDL Class A or B Driver/Field Technician
Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working CDL Class A or B Driver/Field Technician to join our operations team, who drives 10 speed manuals.
This is a labor-intensive position where drivers are responsible for the safe operation of utility trucks, box trucks, roll-off trucks, vacuum trucks, guzzlers, and other specialized vehicles consistent with the proper licenses.

Key Responsibilities
As a CDL Driver/Field Technician, you will:
- Perform cleaning and decontamination of regulated materials from spills, trenches, drains, oil/water separators, boilers, tanks, and other industrial applications.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot various equipment, including motors, pumps, chainsaws, generators, outboard motors, air compressors, asphalt cutters, and other small power tools.
- Ensure prompt attendance on job assignments, which may require early and after-hours start times.
- Safely perform all tasks by reading and adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Complete daily job sheets and waste manifests accurately.
- Maintain up-to-date training and education for licenses, permits, and regulatory information specific to the job.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a CDL Class A license; Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement is preferred.
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission (10-speed or higher).
- Be willing to work off-hours and be available on-call for scheduled rotations.
- Be willing to travel 10-15% of the time between branch offices or spill sites for emergencies and equipment delivery.
- Be a proactive self-starter who can work safely in crews of 2-10, following the chain of command structure and guidance from supervisors and foremen.
- Successfully pass a DOT hazmat physical, drug and alcohol screening, and detailed background check.

Compensation:
- starting point varies for Class A or B license, both are fulltime 40 plus hour a week positions with overtime pay.
