Paraplanner (Part-Time) | Growth Opportunity to Associate Advisor
Position Type: Part-Time
Expected Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week

Compensation: $22–$28 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Net Worth Advisory Group is seeking a part-time paraplanner in Sandy, Utah, with the opportunity to learn directly from an experienced advisor and grow into a full-time associate advisor role. This position is ideal for someone serious about a long-term career in financial planning and eager for hands-on experience in a fee-only RIA.
About the Opportunity
The paraplanner will work closely with Curtiss Smith, senior advisor and partner, and his team to support client relationships, financial planning work, and practice growth. The role offers hands-on exposure to plan preparation, client service, meeting prep, follow-up, and planning analysis.
This role is expected to begin part-time and plan to transition into a full-time associate advisor position within 1–2 years.
Responsibilities
· Prepare financial plans, meeting materials, and investment reports
· Support new client onboarding
· Manage client and practice reports
· Communicate professionally with clients and prospects by phone and email
· Track follow-up items from client meetings
· Assist with planning and investment analysis
· Support client service and relationship management
· Provide administrative support as needed
Qualifications
· Interest in financial planning and a long-term career in the profession
· Finance or financial planning background or experience preferred; students nearing graduation encouraged to apply
· Availability for approximately 20 hours per week during business hours, with some flexibility around class schedules
· Ability to work primarily in-office in Sandy, Utah
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
· Familiarity with RightCapital is a plus
· Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
· Professional, reliable, and dependable
