Job Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor will lead and coordinate activities of their team to maximize performance, minimize costs, ensure quality, and maintain safety standards. Responsibilities include coaching, training, and developing team members, managing daily maintenance projects, preventative maintenance, and repair work, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise assigned maintenance technicians and manage facilities/utilities equipment and building maintenance activities.
- Review department's workload, schedules, status of ongoing work, projects, and available personnel for work assignment.
- Coordinate outside contractor service work and manage required documentation.
- Manage purchase order flow for outside contractors and supplies, process invoices, and reconcile variations with the accounting team.
- Assist in departmental audits/inspections and ensure all required regulatory and compliance documentation is properly maintained.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 years of leadership experience.
- 3 years of experience working in an industrial maintenance environment.
