Position Summary

As a Factory Quality Technician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining quality standards during the development of cat and dog food product. Work in various areas and functions of the plant to ensure operators are performing the appropriate sanitation activities and quality checks per company policy and procedures. • Perform audits to assure high quality and food safety requirements are being met.
• Use established procedures to perform laboratory activities to include analytical testing and sensory evaluation.
• Monitor operations to ensure quality from receiving of raw ingredients through the processing to finished goods shipment.
• Perform job duties with highest regard for safety

Requirements

• High School or GED diploma preferred.
• 2 years’ experience working in food quality, lab, manufacturing, production, or related environment.

Other

• Must be available to work backshift.

The approximate pay range for this position is $45,000 - 59,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
