Position Summary
Nestled at the confluence of the Rock and Crawfish rivers, our factory has been a cornerstone since 1910. As one of the largest manufacturers in the region, we ship countless truckloads and railcars of beloved brands like Fancy Feast®, Friskies®, and Pro Plan®. Beyond our mass production, our Jefferson factory proudly donates 1.2 million cans of food annually, supporting over 40 animal shelters and organizations. Our factory is also doing our part to care for the environment we share, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity, and maintaining zero waste for disposal. Join us in Jefferson, where we work together to make a difference in the lives of pets and our community.
As Senior Accounting Coordinator, you will work on site at the Jefferson factory to develop and maintain overall management of inventory control and material accounting systems while ensuring compliance with Nestlé company policies and standards as well as external regulations. In this role, you will ensure data integrity and perform analysis of variance results and losses of inventory.

As Senior Accounting Coordinator, you will work on site at the Jefferson factory to develop and maintain overall management of inventory control and material accounting systems while ensuring compliance with Nestlé company policies and standards as well as external regulations. - Complete inventory compliance activities including cycle counts, assessment of critical ingredients, and verification of timely and accurate consumptions
- Perform inventory variance investigations and resolutions
- Apply understanding of production processes and materials to capture utilization and waste data
- Maintain production data integrity to ensure material master data accuracy and support traceability requirements
- Manage materials accounting budget requirements and monthly closure and reporting activities
- Coordinate, audit and advise on all physical inventory procedures in each respective area to ensure accurate and timely completion per the division standard
- Utilize Microsoft Office products and enterprise resource planning software to perform daily accounting functions
- All other duties assigned
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 years of experience in accounting, materials, inventory, or related field
