Job Overview
Join our team as a Barista.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks.
- Prepare breakfast Sandwich and Smoothie and Smoothie Bowls
- Operate POS systems for efficient sales transactions
- Manage cash handling accurately while providing excellent customer service during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization, including food preparation stations and seating areas
- Ensure food safety standards are met through proper food handling, preparation, and storage procedures
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and promote sales of featured items
- Handle serving duties efficiently while managing time effectively to serve multiple customers swiftly
- Weekend availability is a must.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage customization
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Effective time management to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $13.50 - $18.50 per hour
