We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring the store is organized and welcoming. The ideal candidate will have a passion for furniture & home goods, strong communication skills, and is personable and engaging. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor through effective merchandising and stocking practices.
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or concerns.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with customers.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to engage with diverse customers.
- Ability to work 1-2 week days, and most Saturdays.
