What are the responsibilities and job description for the Neighborhood Solar Advisor position at Nespola LLC?
This position is focused on outdoor, face-to-face outreach in residential neighborhoods. Your role is to introduce homeowners to the idea of solar energy, spark interest through short, clear conversations, and set qualified appointments for a licensed solar consultant to complete the full evaluation.
You’ll be the first point of contact, responsible for creating positive first impressions, identifying homeowners who are open to learning more, and scheduling times for a deeper consultation. This role is about communication, consistency, and confidence—not hard closing.
Your day-to-day work includes walking assigned neighborhoods, starting friendly conversations, overcoming basic objections, gathering accurate homeowner information, and coordinating scheduled appointments with the sales and design team. You’ll be trained on how to approach homeowners professionally, represent the brand correctly, and qualify interest efficiently.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being outside, talking to new people daily, working independently, and improving their communication skills while being part of a fast-moving team in the renewable energy space.
