What are the responsibilities and job description for the ELD Summer Intensive Language Lab Teachers position at Neshaminy School District?
The Neshaminy School District is seeking qualified and motivated teachers to support our English Language Development (ELD) Summer Language Lab. This program is designed to provide targeted English language instruction for multilingual learners in rising grades 1–12. We welcome applications from both internal and external candidates.
Position Overview
Teachers will provide in-person English language instruction focused on developing students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in a supportive, engaging summer learning environment.
In addition to classroom teachers, we are seeking one teacher to serve as a program support teacher who will work directly with the Curriculum and Instruction supervisor. This role includes up to fourteen additional hours over the course of the program, including planning and organization in June.
Program Details
- Location: Core Creek Elementary School (tentative location)
- Program Dates: June 29, 2026 – July 30, 2026
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Additional Required Prep Days:
- Week of June 22nd, Two days of planning and preparation and setup prior to student start date - 6 hours
- 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate (required)
- ESL Program Specialist endorsement (preferred)
- Experience working with English Learners is strongly preferred

Neshaminy School District requires a valid Child Abuse Clearance, FBI clearance, PA State Police Criminal Check, and completed Act 168 forms for all employees before they may begin work.
