About the role
We’re looking for a Data Center Technician in Hillsboro, Oregon area to support our growing operations on a half-time / freelance basis. You’ll work hands-on in enterprise data centers, assisting with installations, cabling, hardware moves, and testing as part of a skilled, international team.
What you’ll do
- Install, label, and test copper and fiber cabling in data centers.
- Perform server and network equipment installation and removal.
- Support patching, documentation, and power setup.
- Follow strict project and safety standards to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate with nesevo teams across different regions on global projects.
What we’re looking for
- 2 years’ experience in data center or IT infrastructure work.
- Knowledge of structured cabling, rack layouts, and testing tools (Fluke or similar).
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
- Flexibility for occasional on-site or after-hours work.
