Stock Clerk - 1st shift

Position Summary

Under moderate supervision, this role is responsible for stocking and shipping frames, lenses, and other product orders to support daily operations. Duties include pulling materials to fulfill orders, preparing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and assisting with product receiving and refurbishing processes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Pull frames, parts, and related materials to support daily invoice orders and new consignment sets.
• Ship daily orders using regular mail, overnight, and ground delivery services in accordance with department standards.
• Stock frames, lenses, and daily shipping supplies to support operational efficiency.
• Participate in scheduled physical inventories.
• Assist the receiving department by unpacking, staging, and counting incoming orders.
• Clean and assemble frames, lenses, and other supplies per department guidelines.
• Altair and Marchon Lines of Business:
• Support return/refurbishment operations by processing removal and credit documentation.
• Open and sort mail returns by frame model.
• Assist with consignment program changes and invoice orders, including lab order consolidation.
• Coordinate with the frame refurbishing team by preparing frames and components to streamline workflow.
  
  

Job Specifications

Required Skills & Abilities

• Ability to read and write at a level necessary to perform essential job tasks.
• Approximately one year of distribution or warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to walk or stand for up to 90% of the workday.

• General warehouse environment with adequate lighting and temperature.
• No hazardous or unpleasant conditions related to noise, dust, or other factors.
