Press Brake Operator, 2nd Shift

Nesco Resource is hiring 2nd Shift Press Brake Operator in the Shepherdsville area.

The Brake Press Operator is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal parts according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and/or manual press brake machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications
• Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
• Select proper tooling, dies, and materials for each job
• Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet dimensional and quality standards
• Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Communicate production issues or quality concerns to supervisors
• Assist with general fabrication or production tasks as needed
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous press brake or metal fabrication experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
• Basic math and mechanical aptitude
• Attention to detail and quality
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as required
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Standing, bending, and repetitive motion throughout shift
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  
  

Work Environment

• Manufacturing/industrial setting
• Exposure to noise, metal materials, and machinery
