Key Responsibilities
Market & Segment Strategy
- Develop and lead marketing strategies and initiatives tailored to specific customer segments.
- Identify and analyze segment expectations, needs, behaviors, and attitudes using primary and secondary research.
- Establish short- and long-term goals, competitive positioning, and market segment strategies.
- Identify market trends and opportunities to ensure the organization remains competitive in a changing marketplace.
- Design, manage, and execute integrated marketing and advertising campaigns across digital, print, direct mail, and email channels.
- Partner with internal creative teams and external agencies to deliver effective, on-brand campaigns.
- Develop and deploy programs that expand distribution channels, increase business opportunities, and improve retention within assigned segments.
- Measure and report on marketing program performance, including ROI and key success metrics.
- Serve as a central resource for brand-related information and guidance.
- Coordinate with business partners to create and deploy brand-building programs.
- Educate internal stakeholders on brand standards, opportunities, and best practices.
- Use customer insights to develop initiatives that ensure the customer experience consistently delivers on brand promise.
- Collaborate with Communications Managers to ensure consistent positioning, messaging, and promotion.
- Partner with Sales and business teams to execute programs in the field and at the account-specific level.
- Set direction for cross-functional project teams and influence stakeholders to ensure marketing programs align with segment needs.
- Identify and guide market-specific communication priorities based on research, competitive positioning, and value propositions.
- Establish goals and performance targets to measure the success of segment marketing programs.
- Lead initiatives that align products, services, and marketing efforts with market needs.
- Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while adapting to changing priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 4 years of marketing experience, preferably in customer-focused or segment-based marketing.
- 4 years of experience in program management and leadership, including influencing strategic direction and change.
- Advanced understanding of marketing concepts, theories, and best practices.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems, manage multiple projects, and plan strategically.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Advanced presentation skills with experience communicating to diverse audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to leverage multiple communication channels and tailor messaging to targeted audiences.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, as needed.
