The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced handling complex commercial litigation documentation. Experience supporting Labor & Employment matters is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Draft, revise, compare, and format legal documents
- Prepare and manage electronic court filings
- Create Tables of Authority, indexes, and hyperlink legal filings
- Perform extensive PDF editing and document redaction
- Reformat manuals and related legal documentation
- Utilize Excel for data entry, table creation, and document comparison
- Assemble binders, manuals, and case materials
- Maintain calendaring and docketing of court deadlines
- Work within document management and attorney timekeeping systems
- Support four attorneys in a busy litigation practice
- Prior experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal or Legal Secretary within commercial litigation
- Strong legal document formatting and proofreading skills
- Experience with document management and attorney time keeping software
- Experience with state and federal e-filing procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Salary up to $90,000, commensurate with experience
