Responsibilities:
- Formulate, prepare, and test battery electrodes and electrolytes in small format cells
- Conduct electrochemical characterizations such as galvanostatic cycling (CC), galvanostatic-potentiostatic cycling (CC-CV), cyclic voltammetry, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) using tools such as MACCOR, Arbin, Gamry, PAR, and Bio-Logic.
- Analyze reaction chemistries and optimization strategies to drive rapid innovation and product development.
- Assist in design and assembly of form factors for advanced testing methods.
- Collate test data and work with a team of engineers and scientists to analyze key findings.
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field, with experience in or an inclination towards energy storage systems.
- Some experience with energy storage systems (such as elective courses or research projects) is a huge plus.
