Position: Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Youngstown, OH
Pay Rate: $26–$28/hour
Shift: 3rd shift | 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM (OT Required)
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Manage and track employee attendance, schedules, and performance reviews
Assign maintenance tasks based on skill level, priority, and urgency
Oversee and improve preventative and predictive maintenance programs
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
Lead maintenance personnel in conducting repairs on equipment such as conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and PLC-driven machinery
Ensure timely completion of work orders and minimize unplanned downtime
Train, coach, and mentor maintenance technicians and new hires
Monitor inventory levels of parts and tools, and coordinate with procurement as needed
Promote and enforce company safety procedures, OSHA compliance, and lockout/tagout standards
Support continuous improvement projects and plant efficiency initiatives
Skills & Qualifications:
3 years of supervisory experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance setting
Strong hands-on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and fabrication processes
Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a 24/7 production environment
Experience with CMMS systems and scheduling preventive maintenance
Familiar with troubleshooting PLC controls, motors, bearings, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, maintenance software)
Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
Must pass pre-employment drug screening
