Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Generation

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to high-impact power generation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical oversight of electrical designs, including reviewing and redlining specifications, drawings, and calculations to ensure project and regulatory requirements compliance.

• Evaluate electrical system designs for simple cycle gas power plants, ensuring adherence to industry standards and plant specifications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, civil, and project management personnel, to support integrated power plant projects.
">
• Ensure all designs and project deliverables meet NERC, NEC, IEEE, and applicable power generation standards.

• Support regulatory and contract compliance reviews related to power plant electrical infrastructure.

• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and assist in knowledge transfer within the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license (REQUIRED).

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in power generation, focusing on simple cycle gas power plants.

• Strong expertise in electrical system design, analysis, and compliance for power generation facilities.
">
• Hands-on experience with specifications, drawings, and calculations review & redlining.
">
• Knowledge of NERC, NEC, IEEE, and applicable industry regulations for power generation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess design and operational challenges.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Work Environment:

• Hybrid Work Model – 3 days in-office (Tues, Wed, Thurs preferred).

• Travel to project sites as needed for inspections, testing, and coordination.
