Essential Duties And Major Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, students, internal departments, and employees
- Drive, create, define, and shape the Compliance Assurance Partnership (CAP) Program
- Develop compliance assessment plans and conduct facility site assessments at various client locations as needed
- Create EH&S program efficiencies to serve customer needs and ensure contract obligations are met
- Work cross-functionally with colleagues in other service line teams to achieve business objectives
- Responsible for leading, motivating, and developing the Environmental and Stormwater consulting teams, ensuring high performance
- Set and maintain standards (with the support of Subject Matter Experts)
- Communicate, report, and analyze the department's progress and ensure training requirements are met and maintained
- Comply with all federal, provincial, and territorial regulatory requirements
- Responsible for team management and mentoring including project scheduling, timesheet and expense report review & approval, meetings, administrative management functions, and approvals
- Cultivate new business opportunities, assist in relationship building, and transition to the Business Development team for sales closure
- Customize and deliver regulatory-required environmental and safety-related training to clients and their respective teams.
- Remain current on changing environmental and safety laws, regulations, and local ordinances, and how they may impact clients
- Assist with other duties as assigned
- High level of computer proficiency, including proficiency of all Microsoft Office products
- Occupational Safety and Health knowledge required

- Bachelor's degree – Environmental Science, or equivalent is required
- ICC California UST Systems Operator is required or must be obtained within 3 months of hire
- 5 or more years of EH&S management and technical experience
- 3 years of experience with the creation and management of EH&S Programs
- Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM)
- Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS)
- Certified Environmental Auditor (CEA)
- Trainer of Record (ToR)
- Qualified Industrial Stormwater Practitioner (QISP)
