Description:
Design, develop and execute testing of software applications, which include configuring, testing, debugging, and installing. Plan, execute, review, analyze and improve test cases and the test plan. Work closely with product owner, business owner, subject matter experts and users to identify desired features and to understand business needs and give technical guidance. Follow the quality assurance process by participating in code reviews, test reviews, automated testing, automated configuration and deployment, product owner demonstrations and business owner acceptance.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
60% Develop test cases and test plan, execute tests, then report and track issues.
20% Participate in planning meetings and improving the software development process.
15% Conduct technical, architecture and implementation reviews
5% Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1. Test case and test plan development, automated test engineering, testing tools and strategies
2. Testing Microsoft .NET Core, C#, Visual Studio, Entity Framework, SQL server, and server development
3. Testing React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Next.js, HTML, CSS, and web client development using MVC
4. Testing web services, RESTful API, microservices, client/server communication protocols and technologies
5. Agile development methods including SCRUM and KANBAN
6. Financial industry knowledge and experience or web3 industry tools and technologies
7. Computer and data processing including computer networks, server and PC OS, and database technologies.
8. Ability to discuss technical issues effectively with other professionals as well as non-technical users.
9. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Ability to work and travel independently, use general office equipment, and make presentations.
