Nerd Nation is looking for a highly organized and creative Social Media Content Creator to help produce and manage engaging content across our social platforms.
This role is focused on creating videos, editing content, and helping us consistently publish engaging social media posts that highlight our store, products, and events.
Responsibilities
- Film and create social media content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook
- Edit videos and prepare content for posting
- Help plan and execute creative video ideas
- Maintain organized footage, editing files, and content schedules
- Capture in store moments, new inventory, and events for social media
- Work with the team to maintain a consistent posting schedule
- Assist with product photos and short form content
Additional Opportunities
Occasional travel to video game conventions may be available. Responsibilities at events may include:
- Helping with vending
- Booth setup and tear down
- Capturing content during the event
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and short form content
- Video editing experience strongly encouraged
- Organized and able to manage multiple projects
- Creative and able to come up with new video ideas
- Comfortable filming content and working in a retail environment
- Ability to occasionally travel for events
What We’re Looking For
Someone who understands what makes content perform well online and can consistently help produce engaging videos and posts.
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
