We're a Techstars company with strategic partnerships across the AI infrastructure stack, including Google Cloud, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Anthropic, and AWS, and we just launched our first product, Nera ChatApp, to a market that's been completely underserved by AI tooling.
The Role We're looking for our first Head of Sales — a zero-to-one builder who can take a product with real traction and turn it into a repeatable revenue motion.
This isn't a role for someone who wants to inherit a playbook. It's for someone who wants to write one. You'll own the full sales function: pipeline, process, outreach, deals, and eventually the team around you.
You'll be selling into data and AI leaders at healthcare systems, financial institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and CPG enterprises — buyers who have been blocked from using AI because of compliance and data exposure concerns. The problem is real, widely felt, and almost nobody is solving it the way we are.
What you'll do
- Build and own the outbound sales motion from scratch
- Identify, qualify, and close enterprise deals with CDOs, CISOs, and Heads of AI
- Develop the ICP, messaging, and sales process that scales
- Work directly with the founder to shape go-to-market strategy
- Eventually hire and lead a sales team as the company grows
What we're looking for
- Proven track record selling enterprise software into regulated industries — healthcare, financial services, pharma, or similar
- Experience building a sales function at an early-stage startup, not just executing within one
- Comfortable selling a technical product to non-technical buyers — you don't need to understand cryptography, but you need to understand compliance pain
- Strong network of data and AI leaders in regulated industries
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Bay Area — or strong preference for Bay Area candidates among remote applicants
