The Operations Product & Pricing Specialist is responsible for maintaining all Pre-Need and At Need products and pricing for SCI Direct. This includes maintaining and updating all Price Lists, product packages, and systems. The Operations Product & Pricing Specialist role also supports the execution and implementation of process improvement initiatives for SCI Direct including, but not limited to Beacon, HMIS and the AN Forms System.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for end-to-end pricing and product administration for all SCI Direct Preneed and At Need products and packages.
• Collaborate with SCI Core’s pricing, product and development teams for implementation and execution of all pricing /product changes.
• Conduct competitive pricing analysis in new markets and provide recommendations for price points for Preneed and At Need packages.
• Develop an SCI Direct product portfolio.
• Perform testing and validation of pricing in systems prior of implementation.
• Ensure pricing updates implementation throughout all SCI Direct applications.
• Provide input/ support to ensure the accuracy of Price lists for all SCI Direct markets.
• Collaborate with web operations and the SCI Houston development teams to test all new applications prior to launch; Beacon, HMIS, HMIS , Nautica, E-Commerce, At Need Forms System, Tablet Portal.
• Provide excellent end user support for all pricing and product related questions.
• Contribute to special projects as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Certification/License

• None

Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting the Operations organization in an environment of constant change.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Advanced or expert-level skill in Microsoft Excel. Working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and InDesign.
• Very strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy working with numbers.
• Ability to research, gather and analyze information skillfully and develop solutions from identified issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and proactively manage deadlines for cross-functional teams as well as within the organizational team.

• Limited amount of local and/or multiple location traveling required

• Frequent, continuous periods of time standing, up 6 hours per day
• Sitting continuously for many hours per day, up to 6 hours per day
• Climbing stairs to access buildings frequently

Physical Demands

• Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, includes paperwork, calculators, computers and phone usage
• Move, push, and pull up to 25 lbs.

Work Hours

• Operations hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. (Business hours may vary per location and state)
• Travel up to 10%
