TITLE: Co-op: Robotics Software Engineering
DURATION: 6-9 months
START DATE: Fall/Winter 2025-2026
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Software Engineering Co-Op able to contribute broadly across numerous aspects of the software ecosystem required for a complex medical robotic system. In this role you will work alongside seasoned software engineers from Intuitive Surgical and Auris Health as well as interact cross-functionally with hardware, systems and vision engineers, tackling challenging problems while learning how to develop real world, safety critical software in a production environment.
The ideal candidate would act with passion and enthusiasm in a medical device start-up that is fast paced and collaborative. For the right person, this position will be an exciting and career-defining opportunity, making core contributions to a genuinely new type of medical robotic platform.

- Developing robust code for various modules in the robotic software.
- Researching, investigating and fixing a wide range of technical issues.
- Proactively learning about new technologies.
- Debugging and testing code on the robot.
- Documenting the implemented software features.
- Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Robotics or similar.
