Nephrology & Hypertension Specialists is a practice located in Fenton Mo, at St. Clare Hospital. Our practice purpose is to give the very best support and help to our patients on a daily basis.
Our practice is looking to find a full-time medical assistant to primarily work at our Fenton Location, with occasional travel to our other two locations off Clayton Rd. and North Ballas Rd. We are looking for an individual to join our wonderful team who can provide excellent patient care, great communication and can work with a team independently after a training period.
The Role of the Medical Assistant:
- Clinic Prep
- Greet and Room patients
- Obtain measure and record vital signs
- Maintain clean exam rooms
- Answering patient phone calls
- Exhibit good clinical judgment within the scope of the role with or without the provider present
- Follow all clinical and clerical protocols per company policy
- Other duties as assigned
This is a full-time position.
- Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm Friday 8am-3:30pm
Experience: Not required but preferred, training will be provided
- Previous experience as a medical assistant
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Familiarity with EMR systems, Nextgen experience is a plus
- Familiarity with back-office workflow and patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
Pay range based on experience and other factors ($20/hr.)
