This is an exciting opportunity to join our Vascular team as a Registered Nurse- Charge Nurse! We are looking for a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in busy Interventional Nephrology practice. The Registered Nurse- Charge Nurse gathers pre-treatment patient data, monitors patients and medications during procedures, maintains prescription drug logs and provides assistance to the clinical team during pre and post procedure activities. This role will circulate for our surgical cases.

What You’ll do:
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization. 2. Must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively and professionally with all members of leadership, including the Medical Director, physicians, Facility Administrator, and executive management, maintaining impartiality, mutual respect, and a unified approach to patient care.
- Acts as a clinical resource for perioperative personnel using current literature and guidelines, organizational policies and procedures, and regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Assist nursing personnel with the completion of required monthly tasks to support regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Demonstrates effective communication and collaboration skills with members of the perioperative team and other stakeholders.
- Must meet weekly with the Facility Administrator to review center operations, discuss performance and regulatory matters, and receive direction regarding policy implementation and operational adjustments.
- The RN is responsible for monitoring infection prevention and control practices and ensuring compliance with all applicable state, local, and regulatory reporting requirements, including timely reporting of reportable diseases, incidents, and quality measures as required by governing agencies. - Uses effective conflict resolution techniques.
- Collects and analyzes data that applies to perioperative services to facilitate collaboration and negotiation with stakeholders.
- May participate in interviews for perioperative nurse personnel selection with Facility Administrator.
- Assists in evaluating perioperative personnel performance.
- Serves as a role model of professional behavior and promote teamwork across a multi-disciplinary team
- Verifies that the appropriate personnel, equipment, and supplies are available.
- RN must actively participate in clinical operations and is required to rotate into the procedure/operating room and pre- and post-opertive patient care areas to provide direct nursing care and procedural support.

- Acts as a patient advocate and maintains privacy and confidentiality of all appropriate information.
What You’ll Bring:
- ASN degree from accredited school of nursing required; BSN preferred
- Current RN license
- Minimum 2 years clinical RN experience in critical care, dialysis or O.R. experience
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Basic computer skills
- High integrity, collaborator with patient service focus and flexibility
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently, yet also function in a highly collaborative, fast paced, team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from patients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
