Nephrology Associates, P.A. is hiring a Medical Assistant to work in our Newark, DE Office. We offer a generous benefit package along with a robust PTO policy... 2 weeks your first year (prorated based on your hire date and the number of hours you work) AND we give you a Birthday day with your PTO!
Job Description
Full-time, 40 hour per week position for our Newark, DE office. Hours rotate weekly - 7:30am (start) to 8:15am (start) and 4:30pm (end) to 5:00pm (end).
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Taking patients to exam rooms, recording vital signs and completing EHR encounter according to visit protocol.
- Labs – chart labs, review for critical values, notify physician as needed.
- Preparing charts for office visits – obtain pertinent medical records prior to time of visit.
- Updating patient documentation – medication list, patient phone calls, etc.
- Scheduling and administering injections (Hep B)
- Keeping exam rooms and lab area clean, neat and well stocked.
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a physician’s office.
- Electronic medical records experience is required.
- Critical thinking.
- Ability to work independently but also in a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task and work at a face pace.
Job Candidate must have a stable work history, good work ethic and a positive attitude. Must be flexible and a team player and be able to provide 3 professional references.
- Frequent sitting and standing

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
