About the Role:

The Director of Ambulatory Surgical Centers is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, operational management, and clinical excellence of the vascular services department within a healthcare organization. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered vascular care by integrating clinical best practices with efficient resource management. The Director collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement innovative programs that improve patient outcomes and enhance service line growth. They are accountable for regulatory compliance, budget management, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development among staff. Ultimately, this position drives the advancement of vascular services to meet the evolving needs of the community and the organization’s mission.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, or related field required: Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in ASC or hospital outpatient management.
• Proven track record in financial and operational management, budgeting, and compliance. 
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Braintree or similar EHR preferred.
• RN or clinical background strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:
 

• Provide executive leadership and daily oversight of ASC operations across all locations.
• Ensure quality of care, regulatory compliance, and adherence to accreditation standards (CMS, AAAHC, Joint Commission).
• Develop and execute short and long-term operational strategies aligned with NANI’s growth goals.
• Manage Budgets, financial reports, staffing models, and performance metrics.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and professional development of ASC leadership and staff.
• Partner with physician leaders to optimize case mix, scheduling efficiency and patient satisfaction.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions.
• Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, and Operations departments to ensure consistent reporting and accountability.
• Lead initiatives for expansion, new service lines and process improvement.
• Present operational and financial reports to the VP of Operations and Executive Leadership.
