Cashier’s Responsibilities:Greeting customers when they enter the storeOperating a cash register or computer systemTaking payments from customers and providing them with the appropriate change when applicableHonoring coupons and discountsKeeping track of transactions and noting any discrepanciesProcessing product exchanges or returnsIssuing refunds or store credit to customers who return productsEnsuring store shelves are stockedKeeping checkout area tidy and sanitizedAssisting with customer requests and inquiriesReport damaged or missing inventory to supervisorsUpdate logs for inventory processingWork as an active team member to complete team goalsAssisting Warehouse mangerCashier’s Requirements and Qualifications· High school degree or equivalent· Computer Skills· Valid driver's license· Able to pass background check· Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the shift· Physically able to lift at least 50 pounds· Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Able to work in a fast-paced environment· Able to work independently· Pays attention to detail and monitors the quality of inventory· Highly organized and able to store items efficiently· Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state· Excellent verbal communication skills.· Bilingual (Spanish) a plus. Requirements:High School Diploma (Required)Must have reliable transportation.
