We’re adding a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting to support a growing, complex, private-equity-backed organization with an expanding international footprint. This is a new, high-impact individual contributor role designed for someone who enjoys solving complex accounting issues, writing thoughtful technical positions, and partnering closely with senior finance leadership.

You’ll play a key role in shaping accounting policies, supporting external reporting, and helping operationalize U.S. GAAP across our global entities. What You’ll Do
- Prepare, review, and support internal and external financial reporting, including monthly close, consolidations, and audit deliverables.
- Research and document technical accounting positions, developing high-quality accounting memos and policies suitable for audit and executive review.
- Apply U.S. GAAP to complex transactions, including areas such as purchase accounting, equity compensation, leases, revenue, debt, derivatives, and goodwill.
- Partner with Group and Regional Accounting teams to operationalize U.S. GAAP for international entities, including statutory-to-GAAP adjustments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Systems teams to improve close efficiency, data quality, and reporting processes.
- Support external audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Participate in close optimization and process improvement initiatives using technology-enabled tools.
- Informally mentor junior team members and expand leadership exposure over time.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA certification strongly preferred
- 4 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidations, and technical accounting (top-tier accounting or advisory firm preferred)
- Proficient in US GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Strong knowledge of lease accounting, goodwill impairment, debt accounting, and equity/stock compensation
- Experience with advanced accounting technologies and EPM tools such as Hyperion
