What You’ll Do
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for hourly, salaried, and union employees
- Ensure accurate payroll calculations including overtime, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and garnishments
- Oversee payroll tax filings, deposits, reconciliations, W-2s, and year-end reporting
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
- Manage payroll audits, tax notices, agency inquiries, and amendments
- Supervise and develop payroll team members
- Partner with HR, Finance, and Accounting on compensation and employee data changes
- Lead payroll system enhancements, testing, and process improvement initiatives
- Prepare payroll reporting, analytics, and compliance metrics for leadership
- 5 years of payroll experience, including payroll tax administration
- Prior payroll leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll and payroll tax compliance
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred
- Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, UKG, SAP, or Oracle
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel and reporting skills preferred
- CPP or FPC certification is a plus
