Job Description:

Manage the full accounting cycle for a fast-paced, growing organization, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, payroll, and procurement

Ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating and entering transactions

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP

Responsible for the full month end close cycle

Perform month end balance sheet reconciliations within prescribed reporting timelines

Manage the sales tax compliance for the entire company

Review bi-weekly payroll prepared by HR
-
Oversee internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures

Work closely with the VP Finance to develop and maintain a robust financial reporting system

Analyze financial data, identify trends, and prepare insightful reports for management

Interface with external auditors and ensure a smooth audit process
-
Stay up-to-date on accounting regulations and industry best practices

Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants
-
Assist with preparation and filing of various taxes and required compliance

Assist with acquisition integrations

Required Skills:
-
Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Finance or equivalent/related

CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred

8-12 years of accounting experience in a high-growth company, preferably within the technology sector

3-5 years in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role

Experience in managed cybersecurity and IT services environment

Strong understanding of US General Accepted Accounting Principles

Proficient in accounting software and tools (e.g., Netsuite, QuickBooks, Ramp) and financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel); Netsuite experience is a plus

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skill

Meticulous attention to detail and strong work ethic

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
