Manufacturing Technician/Line Operator - Night Shift
Location: Morristown, TN

- Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Sunday–Thursday)
- Training Shift: Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
Starting Pay: $21.95/hour shift premium

Position Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician/Line Operator to join our team for night shift. This role involves performing complex machine set-up and operations while ensuring quality production in a fast-paced environment. Initial training will be conducted on the day shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate complex production equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
- Complete production documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and support other departments as needed.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Above-average mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret precision instruments.
- Ability to work safely in a production environment with exposure to lubricants, coolants, and other chemicals.
- Quality-minded, detail-aware, and safety-conscious.
- Willingness to complete training on day shift prior to transitioning to the assigned shift.
- Openness to learn and train on multiple production lines to support operational flexibility.
- Flexibility to work in other departments or on alternate shifts as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience setting up and operating complex manufacturing equipment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs. without assistance.
- Prolonged standing and walking on concrete floors.
Working Conditions
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, forklifts, and moving machinery.
- Work may be performed in non-climate-controlled areas.
- Required to wear PPE, including safety glasses, steel or composite-toed shoes, hearing protection, gloves, and a bump cap.
