JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Field Outreach & Door-to-Door Notifications
- Deliver customer-facing outreach materials door-to-door across designated service territories.
- Assemble printed materials and prepare project notification packets.
- Complete daily routes across multiple municipalities (up to 4–5 per day).
- Walk 7–10 miles per day while performing door-hanging activities.
- Travel to various parts of North, Central, and occasionally South Jersey (2–3 times/year).
2. Project Support & Coordination
- Provide support to the project team and designated business units.
- Assist with gathering data and documentation from internal departments.
- Support communication activities necessary for project completion.
- Document significant findings observed while delivering outreach materials.
3. Administrative & Compliance Support
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and project requirements.
- Use basic computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Assist with tasks assigned by the Project Coordinator.
- Track daily work completed and report progress to management.
4. Driving & Travel Responsibilities
- Drive to outreach locations using a personal, reliable car (required).
- Maintain a valid NJ driver's license.
- Mileage and tolls will be reimbursed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Core Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with customers and municipalities.
- Good time management and ability to meet daily outreach goals.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Ability to walk long distances daily (7–10 miles).
- Must be able to work 25–40 hours per week, Monday–Friday (8 AM – 4:30 PM).
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- MS Project experience (preferred).
- Ability to record observations and communicate findings effectively.
- PMP certification (a plus).
Logistics & Other Requirements
- Valid NJ driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (Uber/public transportation NOT accepted).
- Comfort with regular in-state travel (Northern & Central NJ, occasional South Jersey).
- Ability to deliver 600–700 door hangers daily on some days.
- Ability to work independently while following project guidelines.
- Professional demeanor and punctuality.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- No bachelor's degree required.
- Additional certifications (preferred but not required):
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- MS Project experience training
