Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to support senior attorneys in the Litigation and Labor & Employment practice groups. This role requires exceptional judgment, the ability to handle confidential information, and the capacity to work independently on time-sensitive tasks. The ideal candidate will also provide backup administrative support across the Law Department as needed.Key Responsibilities:Work independently on confidential and time-sensitive assignments using discretion, judgment, and initiative.Prepare, proofread, and edit legal documents for accuracy and completeness.Perform clerical duties including typing, filing, mail sorting, scanning/photocopying.Screen, prioritize, and route incoming correspondence to appropriate parties.Maintain and manage attorney calendars, hearings, and deadlines.Provide guidance and support to junior administrative staff when required.Handle administrative functions such as:Maintaining attorney filesUpdating case lists and counsel listsTracking case deadlinesCommunicating with courts, clients, and opposing counselOrganizing client meetings and conferencesProcessing attorney expense reportsEnsuring timely file close-outsRequirements:Experience working in a legal office or law firm environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
