Job Requirements
- Strong experience managing workplace accommodations and ADA compliance programs
- Hands-on experience with the interactive accommodation process, including manager coaching, risk mitigation, and case resolution
- Knowledge of ADA, PWFA, FMLA, PUMP Act, NY Human Rights Law, NJ employment laws, Title VII religious accommodations, Section 503, and VEVRAA
- Experience supporting EEO compliance and Affirmative Action reporting initiatives
- Familiarity with EEOC, OFCCP, EEO-1, and VETS-4212 reporting processes
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to work with large data sets
- Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and SharePoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and customer service abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-changing, compliance-driven environment
- Experience supporting talent acquisition compliance and hiring best practices
- Comfortable partnering with HR, legal teams, managers, and external vendors
- Bachelor’s degree with 5–10 years of relevant HR/compliance experience preferred
Responsibilities
Workplace Accommodations Administration
- Serve as the primary point of contact for workplace accommodation requests under federal and state laws
- Lead and manage the interactive accommodation process from intake through resolution
- Review accommodation requests and determine appropriate reasonable accommodations
- Draft accommodation-related documentation including medical inquiry letters, determinations, acknowledgements, and denial notices
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and audit-ready accommodation records and databases
- Partner with HR, managers, and legal teams to implement accommodations and resolve complex employee situations
- Monitor active accommodation cases and ensure timely follow-up and closure
- Identify trends and recommend process improvements, policy updates, and training opportunities
- Provide guidance and training to managers and HR regarding accommodation obligations and best practices
- Stay updated on changing employment laws and compliance requirements
EEO Compliance & Affirmative Action
- Support Affirmative Action Plan administration and compliance initiatives
- Partner with external vendors for AAP reporting, EEO-1, and VETS-4212 submissions
- Assist with workforce demographic analysis and underutilization action plans
- Provide compliance guidance related to recruiting and hiring practices
- Support audit readiness and compliance documentation efforts
- Assist with NJ compliance initiatives and required employment notices/training
Data & Reporting
- Prepare ad hoc workforce analytics, labor market reports, turnover metrics, and diversity reporting
- Scrub, validate, and manage large volumes of employee and compliance-related data
- Maintain tracking systems and reporting databases for accommodations and EEO programs
- Support leadership with reporting and compliance-related analytics
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in workplace accommodations, ADA compliance, employee relations, or HR compliance
- Strong working knowledge of ADA, PWFA, FMLA, EEOC regulations, and related employment laws
- Experience managing high-volume accommodation caseloads
- Experience with EEO compliance, affirmative action programs, and reporting preferred
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, SAP SuccessFactors, and SharePoint
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Master’s degree in HR, People Analytics, or related field preferred for candidates with less experience
Salary : $42 - $46
