The Neosho School District is seeking a certified Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.
Primary Tasks & Major Activities include, but are not limited to:

Provide high-quality instruction aligned to district curriculum and grade-level expectations

Serve as an instructional leader through inquiry-based and project-based learning

Collaborate within a Professional Learning Community (PLC) to plan curriculum, create common assessments, and analyze student data

Use research-based instructional strategies and authentic assessment practices to inform instruction

Deliver intentional and differentiated instruction based on individual student data

Maintain effective classroom management and foster positive student relationships

Support character development and maintain strong parent/teacher communication

Participate in district and building professional development and grade-level collaboration

Work successfully as part of a highly collaborative instructional team

Support and follow district and building vision and initiatives
Qualifications:

Valid Missouri teaching certification appropriate to grade level

Strong instructional, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
