What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Guard position at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center?
The Security Guard is responsible for providing Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center’s patients, visitors, and employees protection from harm and reasonable fear of harm. They must also demonstrate customer service, while providing security and protection of the medical center’s properties and resources. The Security Guard also uses preventative patrol and loss prevention techniques and report security safety and fire hazards. The Security Guard does not provide treatment to patients, but is a very visible hospital employee, often greeting patients when they enter the facility.
Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency (GED) preferred, but not required.
LICENSE / CERTIFICATION / REGISTRATION:
- Current valid Driver’s License with no restrictions on driving.
- BLS / Heartsaver- Satisfactory course completion with current card or ability to complete within 3 months or at the next available course offered by NMRMC.
EXPERIENCE:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous experience preferred, but not required.
