Neos is seeking a Cyber Automation Engineer with experience in security automation, detection engineering, and Microsoft Sentinel. The ideal candidate is passionate about improving Security Operations Center (SOC) processes through automation and has experience working in highly regulated or government environments.

- Develop and maintain automated security workflows to improve SOC operations.
- Support detection engineering by creating, tuning, and maintaining security detections and alerts.
- Work with Microsoft Sentinel for monitoring, detection, and response.
- Leverage security automation and AI-assisted tools to streamline security operations.
- Collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Operate within environments that manage highly sensitive or regulated data.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM).
- Experience with Detection Engineering.
- Experience with SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation & Response) platforms.
- Strong understanding of security automation concepts and workflow orchestration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work remotely while residing in Texas.
- Experience with Torq (preferred SOAR platform).
- Experience with Swimlane, Splunk SOAR, Palo Alto XSOAR, Tines, or similar automation platforms.
- Experience using AI assistants such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools to improve cybersecurity workflows.
- Experience supporting government, public sector, defense, or other highly regulated environments handling sensitive information.
