Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Chattanooga, TN. The Sales Executive is responsible for prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities, conducting outbound calls and emails, and building a strong pipeline of potential clients. Daily tasks include presenting Neon Logistics’ transportation and 3PL services, preparing quotes, negotiating rates, and closing deals in alignment with company goals. The role also involves maintaining ongoing relationships with existing customers, monitoring shipment performance, and resolving service issues in partnership with operations teams. The Sales Executive will be expected to meet or exceed sales targets, maintain accurate records in the CRM system, and collaborate with colleagues to support overall business growth.
Qualifications
- Experience in B2B sales, preferably in logistics, transportation, or a related industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong skills in prospecting, lead generation, pipeline management, and closing new business.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to conduct persuasive presentations and negotiate effectively with clients.
- Comfort with CRM systems and basic sales reporting, along with proficiency in common office software tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, on-site environment, manage time well, and prioritize multiple accounts and tasks.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to integrity, follow-through, and long-term relationship building.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with operations and customer service teams to address client needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
