Job Title: .NET Developer

Location: Hybrid (6 Empire State Plaza, Albany NY 12212)

Position Type: 24 Months (Contract)

Number of Hours: 40 Hrs/ week

Note: 8:00AM- 5:00PM With 1/2 hour unpaid lunch. 50% Telecommuting is allowed (minimum 2 days on site per week are mandatory).

Office of Child & Family Services

System Developer web based processed used by applicants to submit applications for operating child care programs in NYS.

Responsibilities:

• Work in coordination with a team of developers to write the new Facility Application Management system in ASP.net MVC.
• Work with Business Analyst on analysis and logical design.
• Perform unit testing and correct all identified bugs.
• Perform VB.Net coding.
• Assist with responding to CCFS data requests.
• The individual in this position will work under the direction of a Technical Lead, Project Manager & Software Architect. Perform writing of stored procedures/triggers in an Oracle database utilizing PL/SQL

Required/Preferred Skills:

• 84 months experience developing N-Tier .net web applications.
• 72 months experience with PL/SQL writing packages stored procedures and triggers.
• 60 months experience utilizing Model View Controller (MVC).
• 60 months experience utilizing SQL Server Reporting Services .
• 36 months experience utilizing JQuery.
• Bachelor’s Degree
