Position Summary:
Incorporates and promotes quality principles into the facility’s daily operations as a subject matter expert on incoming inspection, in process inspection, final inspection, and servicing inspection. Controls and maintains inspection, measurement, and test equipment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs inspections throughout the production process using basic tools such as calipers and rulers, following drawings and specifications.
- Supports product development teams by conducting inspections to ensure requirements are met.
- Executes and provides support to operations personnel on quality processes such as nonconformance reports (NCRs), temporary deviations, and engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Calibrates measurement and testing equipment to maintain accuracy.
- Executes core duties and responsibilities of the role in accordance with the established skills competencies.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of manufacturing or quality experience is required. Experience in the medical device manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Proficient in understanding and interpretation of written and verbal instructions, directions, and technical information.
- Intermediate computer competency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and business specific software (e.g., ERP, eQMS).
- Takes initiative; action oriented and demonstrates resourcefulness.
- Demonstrates authenticity; shows courage and instills trust.
- Demonstrates openness; exhibits a growth mindset through openness to feedback, self-reflection, and proactive development.
