Human Resources Assistant

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Assistant to support our Human Resources department with daily administrative and operational functions. The HR Assistant will play an important role in recruiting, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, and providing excellent customer service to employees. This position is ideal for someone who is eager to build a career in Human Resources and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting activities, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
• Prepare new hire paperwork and coordinate onboarding and orientation activities.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files and HR records.
• Assist employees with routine questions regarding company policies, benefits, and HR procedures.
• Process employment verifications and maintain HR documentation.
• Assist with payroll preparation by collecting and verifying employee information and timekeeping records.
• Monitor compliance with company policies and maintain required HR documentation.
• Order office and onboarding supplies as needed.
• Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources department.
• Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of administrative or Human Resources experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
